Position Overview Ed Morse Chevy GMC Kewanee is currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our team! Candidates must have the experience to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
The Auto Service Manager is responsible for developing service operations, gross profit, and expense control.
Ideal Candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of Expertise as a Service Manager.
They will be responsible for the Daily Operation of the Automotive Service Department to achieve maximum Sales and Productivity Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of top Automotive Service Professionals while promoting strong customer satisfaction and building loyalty.
Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with concern for the customer.
Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer concerns and finding the best possible solutions.
Generate and strive to increase labor sales.
Ensure that vehicles are being serviced properly while utilizing technicians efficiently.
Must be able to maintain a quality staff that meets and exceed training standards outlined by the manufacturers.
Supervise and manage the workload and schedules for all service employees.
Have a full understanding of job requirements for associates within the service department and how those jobs are to be performed.
Manage payroll and expenses to meet the changes in the business.
Ensure that the department and equipment meet required safety standards for a hazard-free work environment.
Requirements:
5 years, Service Manager Experience in the automotive industry is a must.
Strong customer focus including negotiation and de-escalation skills.
Leadership ability to include demonstrated ability to develop team members.
Good automotive technical aptitude to work with automotive technicians.
Ability to learn and work with automotive software.
Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
